FESSURA REFLEXSYSTEM®
FESSURA was established in Italy, to change how style is interpreted and communicated.
Tradition and Innovation are the inspiring and guiding impulses behind the brand’s design of high-performing sneakers, the result of constant evolution and research. FESSURA is seen as one of the most appealing companies in the global sneakers market, is an “INNOVATIVE SME,” included in the ELITE Program of the Italian Stock Market.
CHANGE® is one of the core projects of Fessura and also its first patent as Industrial Invention. The system devised to be assembled does not involve the use of machinery, glue, or stitching: it is not just a product of design and fashion, but a real high-tech shoe. The concept is really simple and, at the same time, brilliant. The sole remains the constant base of the shoe while the upper, a one-meter-long elastic band, slips into the sole’s FESSURE, thus easily and manually creating the shoe. Patented as Industrial Invention since 1999, FESSURA CHANGE® can be considered a pioneer of eco-friendly footwear, as the lack of the classical process of industrial manufacturing reduces CO2 emissions by at least 50 percent.
REFLEXSYSTEM® is a system designed to provide new sensations of movement, designed for those who want to improve their lifestyle while walking. The four pads embedded in the sole can absorb and simultaneously release ENERGY in different areas of the foot according to the principles of Reflexology. The pads correspond to four areas: "MIND," the area of the sole located under the toes; "ENERGY," immediately after the toes; "VITALITY," located in the arch of the foot; and "MOBILITY," which is located exactly on the heel. REFLEXSYSTEM® triggers a series of biomechanical, physiological, neuromuscular, biochemical, and bioelectrical reactions, absorbing the energy of the foot's impact during its rolling and returning it as is lifted off the ground. The slogan "ENERGY IN MOTION" was created precisely to describe this process in just three words.
