STIC™ – Magnetic Walking Aids
STIC™ is a magnetic walking aid attachment that can be retro-fitted to walking sticks or crutches, which facilitates secure housing whilst the walking aid is not in use.
STIC™ prevents walking aid drops through the use of rare earth magnets or by allowing the walking aid to be hung on a ledge using basic geometry. Ferromagnetic plates can be placed in key areas in the hospital or home to provide additional housing places for walking aids, making a hospital or home environment ‘STIC™ friendly’.

But, for individuals in hospital and members of our community that depend a walking aid for mobility, this seemingly minor task presents a substantial risk of falls, thereby significantly increasing the risk of poorer health outcomes.
However, early peer reviewed clinical trial results and customer feedback suggests, STIC™ increases walking aid accessibility by reducing walking aid drops and intern improves walking aid adherence by , significantly reducing risks associated with falls. In an attempt to provide an economical solution to Australia’s growing and aging population.
Early peer-reviewed clinical trial results, coupled with valuable customer feedback, strongly suggest that our patented product STIC™ is a groundbreaking solution that not only enhances walking aid accessibility by reducing instances of dropped aids but also significantly improves walking aid adherence. This dual benefit plays a vital role in reducing the risks associated with falls, making STIC® a cost effective solution to address the needs of Australia growing and ageing population.
