Quickstrap
Designed for side curtain trucks, the Quickstrap is a load securing system that increase driver safety and increases operating efficiency for trucking and logistics companies.
The Quickstrap changes behaviour by encouraging safe work practices by easier and faster operation of securing winch straps to palletised goods. Current methods involve the throwing a winch strap upwards of 4 metres, and climbing into the truck to either position or re-position a winch strap – Increasing the risk of damaging goods in the process and/or physical harm to others. By redefining and rethinking the load securing process, this drastically enhances the company's Work Health Safety (WHS) compliance, creates operation consistency across all drivers and keeps employee's safe at work from falls and long term shoulder, back and knee injuries.
Incorporating an in-built cabling design, the slim form neatly fits within the roof, allowing uninterrupted forklift access – Maximising the loading height unlike existing bungy restraint systems. With a controlled release, the winch strap is dropped where you need it, safely, all the time. It is non-straining retrieval position gives the operator an ergonomic and simpler physical practice. The auto retractable return, winching is now only required from one side of the truck – drastically improving productivity when delivery access is not always possible.
The Quickstrap is specific to the trucking industry. It is engineered to the robust, tough and rustproof to suit the Australian conditions. With minimal moving parts, and streamline of the design components, the Quickstrap was considered to be developed to suit Australian manufacturing capability and productions processes.
