ORA Masks
ORA Mask brings the best face mask technologies to domestic manufacturing and automation.
ORA stands for sustainability and intentionality. By integrating product design and utilizing a fully horizontal integration engineering and manufacturing capabilities, ORÅ Mask minimizes the impact of face masks usage on pollution and carbon emission. ORÅ is dedicated to creating the best quality with the best available technology while helping establish the critical PPE supply chain in the US.
ORA Mask integrates nanomaterials into face masks, creating products with long lasting protection against virus sized particles.
Through independent 3rd party testing, the ORÅ Mask series achieves over a 99% Particle Filtration Efficiency of 100nm particles with Nanofiber Filters. This is achieved through a 3-layer membrane design: two PET outer layers and one Electro-spun Nanofiber Layer.
Nanofiber plays a key role in achieving high efficacy. These nanofibers range in size from 65 nm to 105nm. ORÅ has found that electro-spinning the Nanofibers in a uniform, nonwoven pattern creates smaller pores designed to catch particles smaller than the diameters of the fibers themselves.
The extremely lightweight and thin composition of the PET and Nanofiber layers also result in ultimate breathability while wearing our masks. Most masks and respirators measure at 2.4 mbar in pressure to breathe, held at a constant airflow of 60L/ min, while the ORÅ Mask measure only 1 mbar. In comparison, blowing air into a balloon measures at 200 mbar.
The Nanofiber material is made from a more sustainable polymer than Polypropylene, the material used in most masks. This design and minimized footprint makes ORÅ Mask the most sustainable, protective masks in the disposable mask market.
