GARDE

From simple to precious, from serious to whimsical.

Out of love and passion for design, GARDE was conceived and founded in 2012 by Scotti Sitz, and partner John Davidson.

A desire to introduce unique and talented artists and designers from around the world helped evolve GARDE from objects to exquisite furnishings by known and emerging designers.

The vision is always to introduce the skills and talents of artists, from ceramicists to furniture and lighting makers.

Located on East 60th Street in the heart of the Upper East Side, Scotti Sitz and John Davidson have opened GARDE's third location, bringing their collection of international designers to New York City.

The gallery is comprised of two beautiful floors and a whimsical garden. The first floor showcases light, warm and tactile neutrals traditional of GARDE’s brand while the second floor showroom aspires to be dark and moody keeping New York's old school design in mind.

GARDE's look has been described as minimal, organic and neutral. You could say Sitz is a believer in a ‘not decorated’ look; choosing design and architecture reflecting your personality, style and history.

Scotti Sitz' background is in fashion. She developed a minimalist aesthetic working for Calvin Klein and learned to appreciate textures and an architectural look at Giorgio Armani. After 20 years, she was eager to do something outside of the corporate world. Working in interior design, exploring European artists and designers, influenced by many Belgium architects helped develop a point of view.  

GARDE presents clients with a livable, yet elegant style and a point of view that welcomes and educates.
