Brain Health “One Habit at a Time”
Led by co-founders Dr. Kazuma Nakagawa (Chief of the Queen's Neuroscience Institute) and Ma Ry Kim (Founder of I-ON Group), B-HARI brings together a diverse team of experts who apply scientific knowledge to shape a deeper understanding of how daily routines and environments can positively impact brain health and bolster neuroplasticity.
After being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia, traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, learning disorders, and other brain diseases, most people receive limited ongoing “brain care” outside of traditional medicine to help restore their lost brain function, brain health, and overall well-being. Furthermore, for those with family history or known genetic predisposition to Alzheimer’s disease or those with general concern about developing dementia or memory issues, few “prevention” programs exist to reduce the risk of dementia. B+HARI’s mission is to improve brain health by transforming the latest scientific research into actionable lifestyle changes, making “self-enabled” complementary brain health accessible to all.
As part of our multifaceted approach, we look at the whole person and delve into lifestyle modifications that reflect all aspects of their life. In order to allow people to feel empowered to activate the knowledge, we craft programs around nature, sunlight, movement, sound, art, and other activities that are easily accessible anywhere in the world.
Most importantly, we try to make our science-based activities enjoyable to make it easy for people to adopt new healthy brain habits by teaching the “feel first … learn later” method. By crystallizing fundamental science and long-proven indigenous practices around unique lifestyle modifications that are engaging and manageable, B+HARI are filling a critical void in the Brain Health market…One habit at a time.
