As the function of our homes continuously changes, furniture needs to adapt. Automatic is a mobile lounge chair that goes where you go.

Unlike traditional stationary furniture, the chair is easily moved around on a whim. With a pull-tab similar to a backpack that offers efficient mobility from place to place, Automatic’s innovative weight-activated wheels remain securely in place while you are seated. The lounge is fabricated from a kit of parts that includes a hard exterior shell of recycled polypropylene that cradles soft molded cushions, creating a chair that is both strong and incredibly lightweight.  As a design that looks to the future, Automatic becomes a key player in your surroundings with a personality that can be playful, casual, or formal by mixing different colors and materials on the shell, cushions, and pull-tab.
