It takes a village - A collaboration between The Swig Company, Gensler, and RESEAT enables 9Zero to optimize a sustainable solution at 350 California St, San Francisco.

A building making a big difference in the climate and sustainability space by bringing the climate community together in creative and productive ways! 350 California Street is owned by The Swig Company. - who are committed to being a climate conscious business. They have their own targets – to reduce their carbon emissions by 50% by 2030 and go to net zero by 2040. But they can only do so much with their buildings on their own ... this is why they need tenants who are on the same page.  

Enter 9Zero and Gensler! They have created an innovative, creative co-working space and club, specifically for people focused on working in climate. Together they have created a collaborative and leading-edge work space that is not only visually and functionally special, but is saved 40 tonnes of carbon from hitting the atmosphere. Then came the next collaboration – to get the furniture for this project committed to style and sustainability. It was a tight budget and a tight-timeline. They were able to fit out the entire building with second-life furniture with the help of RESEAT! A key benefit of the club and coworking members is the serendipity of being surrounded by others in the climate community, from VCs to startups, corporates, and policymakers. All utilize all the benefits of our Climate Innovation Hubs to drive the growth of climate solutions.
