ByDesign announces Lakisha Woods as a new presenter on America ByDesign.

Lakisha Woods recently stepped away from her position as CEO at The American Institute of Architects (AIA). Under her leadership AIA experienced exponential growth in membership, financial stability, efficiency and modernization.

Woods saw an untapped opportunity in bridging mainstream media and the association, recognizing that a partnership with America ByDesign, a CBS series highlighting architectural innovation, could amplify the impact of design. This innovative collaboration not only showcased industry expertise but also demonstrated how design thinking can drive a more equitable and sustainable future.

Woods also has previously appeared on America ByDesign as a regular industry commentator. Now, America ByDesign welcomes Lakisha Woods to the show as a regular on location presenter.

Woods has been in leadership at several organizations representing the building industry. She intends to continue to bring her unique perspective and passion for promoting empowering and equitable design and architecture to her presenting role with America ByDesign.
